An Irish Baroque mahogany bureau bookcase carved with dentils, the doors to the upper section , with turned pilasters and carved Corinthian capitals, fitted with bevelled mirror plates and concealing adjustable shelves, the lower section with slope front opening to reveal an architectural interior with drawers and pigeon holes and secret compartments, the four graduated long drawers below, fitted with cast and chased drop handles, flanked by turned and fluted columns, on shaped bracket feet.
