At the core of our family-owned company is a father and three brother's commitment to keeping our customers happy. We take an honest down-to-earth approach to delivering quality beds for an affordable price. Internet-based companies typically compete against each other for the lowest price. If every company sold the exact same product, it would make sense to comparison shop based on price alone. The reality is that not all memory foam is created equal. Materials and workmanship play a huge role in the comfort and lifespan of a foam mattress.      LOWEST-PRICE GUARANTEE If you think that you've found a lower price on a comparable bed, we guarantee that we'll do our best to beat the price.  Is the:  Bed Made In The USA with American Made Materials? Return Policy Risk Free?    Authenticity of the Claim Verifiable?  Price matches are only valid at the time of sale. Orders that have already processed are not eligible. MEMORY FOAM BUYING GUIDE This guide exposes common tricks that are used to mislead people who are not educated about memory foam.   TRICK 1: CONCEALING WHERE THE FOAM IS MADE   Memory foam is typically made in the United States or China. The most common mistake that people make is accidentally buying memory foam that is made in China.   Companies who sell Chinese foam rarely reveal where their foam is made. If the quality of imported foam was equal to American, more companies would be up front with people about the origin of their foam.   Initially, imported beds may look and feel the same, but differences in the quality may be evident in the first six to eighteen months. As the foam breaks down, the bed gets softer and people often complain that it feels like they're sleeping in a hole.   The majority of Chinese mattresses are distributed by importers in California. Other companies in New York, Maryland, and North Carolina import both fully assembled mattresses and sheets of foam called cores. They take a more complex approach to concealing where their foam is made.   Their websites have video tours and show pictures of their factories. People assume that their memory foam is American made. These companies import foam cores, assemble beds here, and print "Manufactured In The USA" on the labels.   In the past, we sold two company's beds that were made with imported foam. We dropped both brands because their quality was inconsistent. These companies don't own overseas factories where they can control the quality. Importers choose factories based on the cheapest price. Factories are constantly changing their products to meet market demands.   To remain competitive, some factories cut corners. Memory foam is sold by weight and it's possible to use fillers to increase the weight. Importers don't know what materials or chemicals a factory substitutes. It's possible that some of these substitutes are toxic like the lead paint used on toys and the tainted pharmaceuticals recently produced in Chinese factories.     TRICK 2: EXOTIC MATERIALS AS WINDOW DRESSING   Exotic materials are quilted into the covers of some brand's beds to cover up inconsistencies in the quality of imported memory foam. These companies use their American factories to assemble mattresses made with materials like bamboo, wool, aloe, and silk. The materials are quilted into the cover to act as a buffer between people's bodies and the imported memory foam. If these companies were using American made foam, the exotic materials wouldn't be necessary. It's cheaper for them to import foam and other exotic materials, than it is to make beds with quality American-made foam.   TRICK 3: LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING   The overall height of a mattress should never be used as a basis for comparison. The comparison needs to be based on the actual amount of memory foam.    For arguments sake, we break down the 10" Mattress of one of our competitors. Question: How many inches of memory foam does your mattress contain? Answer: There are 3" memory foam.     In this example they used thicker base foam to increase the height. Their mattress should be compared with other mattresses that are built with 3" memory foam. TRICK 4: IS THE IN-HOME TRIAL RISK FREE?   With our Risk-Free 90 Day Trial, our buyers pay a flat fee and are not responsible for any packaging or shipping costs. To avoid the risks of most company's return policies, ask these questions up front: Do you have a return policy? Exactly how much will it cost to return the bed? If a company states that buyers are responsible for the shipping charges, it's almost always a gimmick. Most companies ship their mattresses compressed via UPS or FedEx. Once the package is open, the bed needs to be returned via a freight company. The freight charges can be more expensive than it is to actually keep the mattress. In addition, these companies don't supply their customers with packaging materials.         TRICK 5: THE NAME OF A MATTRESS MAY BE MISLEADING   Misleading product descriptions are sometimes used to confuse people about the density of memory foam. Sellers add irrelevant numbers like 5.5 and 6.0 to the names of their beds. Because people see the number 6.0 they believe that they're getting 6lb density foam.             Satisfaction and Warranty 90 Day Risk-Free Sleep Trial* Manufacturer's 20 year limited warranty All sales on foundations, adjustable bases, pillows, mattress protectors, and metal frames are final. * We accept returns of undamaged mattresses only.
