Original Circa 1900 construction, our stackable, sectional cases have been a HALE original for over 90 years! Each section has an interlocking rail on top extending across the full width, an accommodating groove on the bottom, and a tongue extending upward in the back, all to assure a snug fit. The same is true for fitting the top and bottom. Thus you have a sturdy, perfectly-aligned case with NO TOOLS REQUIRED! These bookcases are fine pieces of furniture made of Solid Oak, Walnut or Birch (YOUR CHOICE) They have the traditional receding glass door sections. The one selling in this listing is a 3 stack with Crown Section (top) and Base Section. 5 pieces in all. There are (2) medium sections that can take books up to 10" high (outside height is 12-1/2") and (1) tall section that can take books up to 12" high (outside height is 14-1/2").
