Due to the fragile nature of our mirrored furniture, it requires more extensive packaging than standard furniture. Your item will be carefully packed with specialized foam and cushioning, hard board walls as well as triple corrugated cartons. We ship every item on a wood pallet so that it can be easily manuvered with a fork lift to prevent dropping and possibile damage. We will always pack and ship your furniture the most economical way possible while still providing the utmost protection. Mirrored furniture must ship class 150 which is more expensive than standard wood or steel furnishings. Shipping costs are determined by weight, dimension and distance. If you live west of the Mississippi, you must contact us prior to purchase so that we can provide you with an accurate shipping cost. The cost of shipping freight is higher than it has ever been due to the increase in fuel charges. We do not mark up our shipping. You are charged exactly what we pay to pack, ship and deliver your furniture. We encourage you to comparison shop shipping costs with other carriers prior to purchase. If you feel our shipping charges are not what you expect to pay, then please do not purchase. We would rather miss a sale than to have you purchase an item from us and grade us poorly on shipping and handling charges. Items over 200 lbs must be delivered white glove service unless you opt for curbside and sign a waiver that 1.) glamfurniture is not responsible for any concealed damage 2.)you will notify Yellow of any damage within 24 hours of delivery 3.) you will be responsible for filing your claim with Yellow. All of our mirrored furniture pieces ship out of our Roanoke, Virginia warehouse. All in stock items are available for immediate pickup. If you wish to pick up your furniture or arrange for it to be picked up by the freight carrier of your choice, you must notify us at time of purchase. If you opt to arrange for your own pickup, you or your freight carrier must sign a document stating the furniture has been inspected by you or the carrier prior to pickup and was shipped in good condition. You must also insured your shipment for the purchase price. This is for your protection as well as our's in the unlikely event your item is damaged in transit resulting in your having to file a claim. We carefully inspect each item prior to shipment. It is your responsibilty to inspect your freight carefully at time of delivery. If we ship your item, we will handle any claims for intransit damage if you notify us within 24 hours of delivery. If we are not notified within this timeframe, we can file a claim with the freight company. If you arrange for your own shipping, you would be responsible for the filling of any claims directly with your freight company. Canadian Shipments: Please contact us prior to purchase to confirm if we can ship to your postal code and for an exact shipping quote. Shipping charges will differ from what we have stated on the listing. White glove service is not available for Canadian residents. Canadian Buyers will be responsible for customs clearance, import taxes and duties. Glamfurniture.com is not responsible for any delays after your furniture has left our dock. Delivery: In stock items, standard shipping time is 10 - 14 days for curbside deliveries and 14-16 days for inside white glove deliveries. Non stock items must be ordered directly from the manfacturer and will take longer to deliver. We will provide an estimated delivery date within the description of every non stock item. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need clarification on the delivery date. If the delivery date is extended by the manufacturer, we will notify you as quickly as possible and offer a full refund of all costs should you decide to cancel your order. Tracking information will be provided to you as soon as your item ships. The freight company will contact you in advance to arrange for a delivery appointment. Deliveries can only be made on weekdays. It will be your responsibilty to coordinate with the freight company for your delivery although we are happy to assist if you run into problems. We are not responsible for any delays once your furniture has been turned over to the freight carrier. All furniture ships Yellow Transporation since we have our best contract pricing with them and they have an outstanding record of safe and timely deliveries of our furniture. Return Policy: You must obtain a Return Authorization number for all returns. If you wish to return your purchase you may do so with written email to customerservice@glamfurniture.com within 5 days of delivery. Shipping charges for all returned furniture is the responsibility of the buyer. Return furniture must be professional re-packaged prior to return and shipped to us either crated or on a pallet. The returned furniture will inspected upon it's arrival. If it is found to be in damaged condition, we will not be able to issue a refund. Refunds can be issued for the purchase price only.
