Top FAQ Q: Why do some mattress sellers advertise 5.5lb Memory Foam and yours have a range? What is the ILD rating of your memory foam? A: This is an excellent question that we get asked daily. We guarantee that our Memory Foam is at LEAST 5lb in density with a 20 ILD rating. The actual range is 5lb to 5.5lb. Anyone that tells you their mattresses or pads are 5.5LB's is only quoting the upper range of the foam's density. We want you to be as happy with this mattress as we are with ours and want to give you only the most current and truthful answers. Q: Does the mattress come with a cover? What is the cover made of? A: All our mattresses come with a 100% Cotton zipper cover. It is also dust mite and allergen free. It has a non-skid bottom and zips 4-ways. The cover is not treated with any chemicals. Q: What is the difference between the 10" mattress and the 12" mattress? A: The 10" mattress has 3" of memory foam, and the 12" mattress has 5" of memory foam. The more memory foam is on a mattress, the more it will contour to the body. If you are looking for a firmer mattress we would advise our 10" mattress. Q: What is the difference between the mattress with 2 layers (memory foam and polyurethane foam), and the mattress with Dual Air Flow (memory foam, convoluted polyurethane foam, and solid polyurethane foam)? A: A natural characteristic of memory foam is that it reflects the body temperature of the person laying down on it. If the consumer is a person who gets hot easily, the mattress will reflect that. If the consumer does not get hot easily, the mattress will not affect them. The Dual Air Flow mattress has a convoluted layer under the memory foam portion of the mattress. This gives better air circulation to the memory foam, making it cool a little quicker than the mattress with the 2 layers alone. This convoluted layer does not prevent the mattress from getting warm. Q: Do your mattresses come as 2 foam pieces, or as 1 whole mattress? A: Our mattresses arrive as 1 whole mattress. All layers are already laminated together and covered in a cotton zipper cover. There is no assembly required by the consumer. Q: Do you also sell the foundation? What kind of foundation does the mattress need? A: We sell foundations in our eBay store.The type of foundation needed for memory foam mattresses is one with a solid flat surface. This could be a box foundation (a foundation constructed of wood with no springs). If you have a box spring that is lumpy or sagging, you will feel this through the mattress. A piece of Plywood will work as a solution in creating the solid flat surface the mattress needs to perform correctly. Q: Can I get combined shipping or discounted shipping when buying more than one mattress? A: Sorry, we can not offer discounted shipping for customers who buy more than 1 mattress. Each mattress is prepackaged by the manufacturer and therefore incur its own shipping cost. Q. Will there be an odor to the mattress when I get it? A: All brand new memory foam will have a manufactured odor when you first open it. You can take the cover off and air out the mattress or wash the cover and place it back on the mattress to speed the process. This odor dissipated in 1-2 weeks time. For people who are sensitive to smells, it may take longer. Q. Can I use a heating pad or electric blanket on this type of mattress? A: We do not recommend using heated mattress pads.
