The Step Stool can also be stained Golden Oak, Jacobean, Dark Cherry, or Medium Cherry.Free of Charge. (see color samples below) After staining, your Step Stool will be professionally finished using 2 Coats of high quality catalyzed satin lacquer Free of Charge. Catalyzed lacquer is more water and scratch resistant than regular lacquer. We do not use shortcuts producing this item. All edges and corners are sanded to give the piece a softer look and feel. Notice the front of the legs are NOT end grain. End grain stains much darker and would not look good at all. It cost more to make the Stool this way, but it has a more uniform look.
